NHTSA Receives Petition for Importation of Nonconforming 1992 Chevrolet Corvette Passenger Cars
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has announced receipt of a petition seeking to allow the importation of 1992 Chevrolet Corvette passenger cars that do not meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards, as they are substantially similar to imported vehicles and can be modified to comply with the standards.
