Federal Acquisition Regulation; Part 12 and Assignment of Claims

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have agreed on a final rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation to prohibit contractors from assigning their rights to receive payment when a third party makes payment under the contract, effective immediately.
