Federal Acquisition Regulation Update: Energy-Efficiency of Supplies and Services

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have agreed on a final rule to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation, implementing Executive Order 13123, which aims to reduce energy consumption in government procurement, as mandated by the Greening the Government through Efficient Energy Management initiative.
