US Trade Representative Requests Investigation into Apparel Inputs from Sub-Saharan African and Caribbean Basin Countries

The US Trade Representative requested an investigation into the effect of providing preferential treatment to apparel from Sub-Saharan African and Caribbean Basin countries due to a 'short supply' of inputs, in response to a request on March 5, 2001.
