US Wheat Gluten Import Relief Evaluation Investigation Launched

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) has initiated an investigation into the effectiveness of import relief measures imposed on wheat gluten imports in 1998, following a recommendation from the Commission on March 18, 1998, and a quantitative restriction imposed by the President on May 30, 1998, which terminated on June 1, 2001.
