FCC Completes First Phase of Accounting and Reporting Review for Local Exchange Carriers

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has adopted most of its proposals from the Phase 1 Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, providing significant accounting relief to incumbent local exchange carriers (ILECs) and aiming to reduce regulatory burdens.
