FCC Adopts Regulations for Emergency Captioning and Video Description

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has adopted new regulations requiring emergency information to be accessible to viewers with hearing disabilities, in compliance with Section 305 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996, to protect the safety and well-being of individuals with hearing impairments.
