FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Engine Alliance Engines

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for specific Engine Alliance (EA) Model GP7270, GP7272, and GP7277 engines, following an aborted takeoff incident attributed to an uncontrolled engine failure, which prompted the agency to take corrective action to ensure public safety.
