FCC Dismisses HCBI Proposal for Channel Substitutions

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has dismissed a proposal by Houston Christian Broadcasters, Inc. (HCBI) to substitute Channel 223C3 for Channel 223A at Wake Village, Texas, and modify the license for Station KHTA, as well as substitute Channel 231C3 for Channel 223A at Arcadia, Louisiana. The FCC has instead allocated Channel 231C2 to Hodge, Louisiana, as a first local service, pending a subsequent order regarding the opening of a filing window for this channel.
