FCC Corrects Access Charge Reform Rules for Local Exchange Carriers and Low-Volume Long-Distance Users

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has published corrections to its 2000 rules on access charge reform and universal service, which were originally adopted by the Coalition for Affordable Local and Long Distance Service (CALLS) and affect local exchange carriers and low-volume long-distance users.
