FCC Amends Rule on Regulatory Fee Waivers and Reductions

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has amended its rule regarding petitions for reduction of regulatory fees, requiring full fee payment to be submitted with any petition for reduction of fee. Petitions for reduction that do not include full fee payment will be dismissed unless accompanied by a petition to defer payment due to financial hardship, supported by documentation of the financial hardship.
