FDA Reopens Comment Period for Trans Fatty Acids Rule

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is extending the comment period for 60 days to allow more time for public input on a proposed rule regarding trans fatty acids in nutrition labeling, nutrient content claims, and health claims, which was first announced in 1999.
