Bayer Co. Files Petition to Amend Food Additive Regulations

Bayer Co. has submitted a petition to the FDA, seeking to update the regulations governing the use of dimethyl dicarbonate (DMDC) in noncarbonated juice beverages and to introduce a new term for its safe use in food products.
