FDA Releases Draft Guidance for Totally Implanted Spinal Cord Stimulators

The FDA is releasing a draft guidance document for the industry on special controls for totally implanted spinal cord stimulators intended for pain relief, following a panel recommendation to reclassify these devices from class III to class II.
