FDA Extends Comment Period for Public Workshop on CLIA Waiver Criteria

The FDA is extending the comment period for a public workshop on the criteria used to determine whether laboratory tests are waived from certain requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA) until October 16, 2000, to allow interested persons additional time to submit comments.
