FDA Reopens Comment Period on 'Fresh' Labeling for Foods Processed with Alternative Technologies

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has extended the comment period for a document related to the use of the term 'fresh' for foods processed with alternative nonthermal technologies until November 20, 2000, in response to a request for more time to submit comments.
