FDA Confirms Effective Date for Phaffia Yeast Color Additive Rule

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has confirmed the effective date of August 8, 2000, for a rule allowing the safe use of phaffia yeast as a color additive in salmonid fish feed to enhance their flesh color, as published in the Federal Register on July 6, 2000.
