FDA Reopens Comment Period on Food Labeling Regulations for Trans Fatty Acids

The FDA is extending the comment period for its proposed rule on nutrition labeling until January 19, 2001, to allow more time for public input on its plan to include trans fatty acids in nutrition labeling and nutrient content claims.
