Miscellaneous: Irish Peace Process Cultural and Training: Second Interim Rule

The Department issued an interim rule dated March 17, 2000, establishing a training and employment program in the United States for certain residents of Northern Ireland and designated counties of the Republic of Ireland. This program was mandated by Public Law 105-319. The Department has received a number of public comments on the interim rule and has implemented the initial phase of the program. This second interim rule reflects consideration of the comments received and incorporates several amendments based upon that experience.
