Federal Reserve Corrects Capital Guidelines for Asset Securitizations

The Federal Reserve has corrected its regulatory text to address errors in treating recourse, direct credit substitutes, and residual interests in asset securitizations, as outlined in the November 29, 2001, final rule published in the Federal Register (66 FR 59614).
