FAA Issues Airworthiness Directive for Dassault Falcon 900 and 2000 Series Airplanes
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an airworthiness directive (AD) requiring the replacement of the elevator auxiliary artificial feel unit (AFU) on certain Dassault Model Mystere-Falcon 900, Falcon 900EX, and Falcon 2000 series airplanes to prevent reduced controllability in the event of a failure. The directive was prompted by a foreign civil airworthiness authority's mandatory continuing airworthiness information.
