Delegation of Authority (99R-159P)

The U.S. Department of the Treasury has delegated most of the authorities in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to appropriate ATF officers, effective immediately. This delegation removes the need for persons to file documents with the Director or specific subordinate officers, and instead requires them to file with the appropriate ATF officer or follow the instructions on ATF forms.
