DEA Places Zaleplon in Schedule IV Under New Rule

The Drug Enforcement Administration has added zaleplon, including its salts, to Schedule IV of the Controlled Substances Act, imposing stricter regulatory controls and penalties on its manufacture, distribution, and exportation.
