EPA Extends Deadline for Review of District of Columbia's Petition on Ozone Nonattainment

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has decided to extend the deadline for taking final action on the District of Columbia's petition, which seeks EPA to determine the impact of sources outside the District on its ozone pollution issues, by six months, citing the need to meet the requirements of the Clean Air Act.
