ATF Issues Temporary Regulations to Implement Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997 for Wine Regulations

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) has issued temporary regulations to implement changes in the use of additional ameliorating material in certain wines, as mandated by the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997, allowing wines made from specific fruits or berries with high acidity to contain up to 60% sweetening material.
