DOE Proposes Upgrade to Fire Protection Systems at Oak Ridge National Laboratory

The U.S. Department of Energy is proposing to upgrade fire suppression and life safety systems at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, which are over 30 years old and do not provide adequate protection for personnel and research activities, while also considering the impact on nearby wetlands and floodplains.
