EPA Comments on Environmental Impact Statements and Regulations

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has expressed concerns over potential environmental impacts of two proposed projects, but has no objection to one of them, citing that the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) adequately addressed the environmental impacts of the preferred alternative. The EPA has recommended the Presidio Trust to reduce single occupancy vehicle trips and adjust parking capacity for the other project, and requested additional information regarding the master development plan in the context of cumulative environmental impacts.
