Boeing Model 767-300 Series Airplanes to Feature Inflatable Lapbelts with Special Conditions

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued special conditions for Boeing Model 767-300 series airplanes, which will be equipped with seats featuring inflatable lapbelts designed by Am-Safe, Inc. The new design does not meet existing safety standards, prompting the FAA to establish additional safety requirements to ensure equivalent safety levels.
