Imperial Irrigation District and San Diego County Water Authority to Prepare Joint Environmental Impact Report and Environmental Impact Statement for Water Conservation and Transfer Project

The Imperial Irrigation District and the Bureau of Reclamation will jointly prepare an Environmental Impact Report and Environmental Impact Statement to assess the impacts of the proposed water conservation and transfer project, which involves conserving up to 300,000 acre-feet of Colorado River water per year and transferring it to the San Diego County Water Authority and other designees.
