National Park Service to Study Escalante River for Wild and Scenic River Designation

The National Park Service will prepare an environmental impact statement to assess the suitability of sections of the Escalante River in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Utah, for inclusion in the National Wild and Scenic River System, and invites public comments on the proposal.
