NOAA Amends Regulations for Coastal Zone Consistency Review of Exploration and Development Plans

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has amended regulations to clarify the process for reviewing Exploration Plans (EP) and Development and Production Plans (DPP) for coastal zone consistency, requiring states to use NOAA regulations and providing draft environmental impact statements (EIS) to states as necessary information for consistency reviews.
