Eurocopter France Model EC 120B Helicopters Face Airworthiness Directive Amendment

The Federal Register has published an amendment to Airworthiness Directive 99-19-23, which requires U.S. owners and operators of Eurocopter Model EC 120B helicopters to inspect engine coupling tubes for cracks at specified intervals and replace any damaged tubes with airworthy ones, following the discovery of three cracked tubes caused by structural resonance.
