Availability of Funds for Loan Repayment Program for Repayment of Health Professions Educational Loans

The U.S. Administration is requesting $11 million in FY 2000 to support a loan repayment program for health professionals, with approximately 275 awards of $40,000 each, to be awarded through the Indian Health Service (IHS) by September 30.
