EPA Calls for Revision of Colorado's Visibility SIP to Address Visibility Impairment

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has notified the Governor of Colorado that the state's Visibility Improvement Plan (SIP) for Class I Visibility Protection is insufficient to meet the National visibility goal, as outlined in the Clean Air Act, and must be revised to address existing and future man-made visibility impairment in the Mt. Zirkel Wilderness Area.
