NMFS Opens Directed Fishing for Pacific Cod in Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is allowing catcher processor vessels to fish for Pacific cod in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands management area, in order to use the full allocated catch from the 1999 total allowable catch (TAC) for these vessels in this region.
