EPA Makes Preliminary Risk Assessments for Organophosphate Pesticide Chlorpyrifos Available for Public Comment

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released preliminary human health risk assessments for chlorpyrifos methyl, a key step in the reregistration eligibility decision process and tolerance reassessment under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), and is inviting public comments on these documents over the next 60 days.
