U.S. Secretary Proposes Waiver to Extend Native Hawaiian Program Under Safe and Drug-Free Schools Act

The U.S. Secretary proposes to extend the Native Hawaiian Program under the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act from 48 months to up to 72 months, allowing the program to continue uninterrupted and potentially awarding a 24-month continuation award to the existing grantee using FY 1999 and FY 2000 funds.
