Pratt & Whitney Proposes Update to Airworthiness Directive for JT8D Series Turbofan Engines

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is considering a proposal to update an existing airworthiness directive for certain Pratt & Whitney JT8D series turbofan engines, which would require enhanced inspections of additional critical parts to prevent engine failure.
