Pratt & Whitney Proposes Update to Airworthiness Directive for PW2000 Series Turbofan Engines

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is considering a proposal to update an existing airworthiness directive for Pratt & Whitney PW2000 series turbofan engines, which would require enhanced inspections of additional critical life-limited parts to prevent engine failure and airplane damage.
