Dornier Luftfahrt GmbH Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Dornier 228 Series Airplanes

Dornier Luftfahrt GmbH is proposing a new airworthiness directive to require the activation of airframe pneumatic deicing boots on all Dornier 228 Series airplanes, following reports of in-flight incidents and an accident caused by non-activation of these boots in icing conditions.
