Coast Guard Proposes Changes to Henry Ford Avenue Bridge Regulations at Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbor

The US Coast Guard has proposed a change to the operating regulations for the Henry Ford Avenue Railroad Bridge across Cerritos Channel in the Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbor, at the request of the Port of Los Angeles, to require the bridge to open upon demand, replacing the current requirement for the bridge to remain open to navigation except for train passage or maintenance.
