EPA Approves Texas Lead Nonattainment Area Redesignation and Maintenance Plan

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a request from the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission to redesignate Collin County, Texas, to attainment for the lead National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS), following a demonstration of continued compliance and a maintenance plan outlining measures to prevent future violations.
