Relocation of Standard Time Zone Boundary in the State of Kentucky

The Kentucky Department of Transportation (DOT) has proposed moving Wayne County, Kentucky, from the Central Time Zone to the Eastern Time Zone in response to a petition from the Wayne County Fiscal Court. The earliest possible effective date for the change is now October 29, 2000, following a delay due to the complexity and controversy of the proceeding.
