EPA Seeks Public Comment on California's Request for Emergency Exemption for 1,3 Dichloropropene to Control Grape Pests

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is soliciting public comment on a California Department of Pesticide Regulation's request to use the pesticide 1,3 dichloropropene to treat up to 50,000 acres of wine grapes to control Grape phylloxera and nematodes, a process that could be finalized in the near future.
