Navy Withdraws Environmental Impact Statement for Naval Undersea Warfare Center Disposal and Reuse in New London, Connecticut

The US Navy has withdrawn its intention to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the disposal and reuse of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in New London, Connecticut, and instead will prepare an Environmental Assessment (EA) due to the expected minimal impacts of the proposed reuse plan, which includes a state park and residential/hotel and conference center.
