EPA Announces Public Hearing for Alabama's Class II UIC Program Revision

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is holding a public hearing and accepting public comments on Alabama's proposed revision to its Class II Underground Injection Control (UIC) program, which regulates hydraulic fracturing associated with coal bed methane gas production, in accordance with the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA).
