NMFS Proposes Regulations for Marine Mammal Take at Northstar Oil and Gas Development in Beaufort Sea

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is proposing regulations to govern the incidental take of marine mammals during the construction and operation of offshore oil and gas platforms at the Northstar development in the Beaufort Sea, in response to a petition from BP Exploration (Alaska) and a revised application for a Letter of Authorization (LOA).
