Medicare Program Announces 2000 Actuarial Rates and Premium Rates

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced the monthly actuarial rates for aged and disabled Medicare enrollees, as well as the monthly premium rate for the Medicare Supplementary Medical Insurance (SMI) program, effective January 1, 2000. The rates include a $45.50 premium, with additional funds allocated for home health services.
