FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Boeing 737, 757, and 767 Airplanes
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Boeing Model 737, 757, and 767 series airplanes, requiring repetitive inspections and replacement of motor operated hydraulic shutoff valves to prevent potential failures that could lead to engine fire, landing gear issues, or loss of electrical power. The proposed AD aims to address reports of misaligned motor switch contacts causing valve malfunctions.
