FRA and FTA Extend Deadline for Comments on Joint Statement of Agency Policy for Shared Use of General Railroad System

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) have extended the deadline for written comments on their proposed joint statement of agency policy concerning the shared use of the general railroad system by conventional railroads and light rail transit systems, originally set for October 29, 1999, due to the need for more time for public input.
